Flexible optical memories

Together with our collaborators of the Samorì group in Strasbourg we have been using our approach to blend photoswitchable hole traps with organic semiconducting polymers (see Nature Chemistry 4, 675 (2012)) to create high-density, non-volatile optical memories, which could also be realized using flexible substrates. The work is of great importance for the development of light-weight, flexible organic optoelectronic devices and has just appeared in Nature Nanotechnology.
