New Dual-Color Photoinitiators
Volumetric dual-color 3D printing is one of the most emerging techniques in additive manufacturing. Hereby, the unique principle of the used dual-color photoinitiators (DCPIs) enables high printing speeds without the occurrence of typical printing layers. Nowadays, the printable material compositions are mainly (meth)acrylate based with a high crosslinking density. Sebastians research is aimed to the development of new generation DCPIs with enhanced photochemical efficiencies. The new molecular classes broaden the library of printable material combinations, e. g. aqueous systems, and therefore open up new application fields for dual-color 3D printing.
